Want to give the bride and groom a flowery surprise as they leave the church? Simply make these pretty paper bags and fill them with confetti. Lea from Rosy & Grey will show you how.

Step 1

First, draw the template and lettering on A4 paper. Use the MONO 100 pencil for this. The MONO smart rubber is on hand for correcting mistakes. Then make the lettering in the colour of your choice with our ABT Dual Brush Pens.

Step 2

To make your wedding bags more personal, use the Tombow Fudenosuke Calligraphy pencil to draw the couple’s initials into the wreath.

Step 3

Now it’s time to do some cutting! Cut along the dotted lines to remove the excess paper. Make sure you leave a border of 1 cm. Use a craft knife to ensure the edges are as neat as possible.

Step 4

Now fold the paper along the diagonal folded lines and fold the lower 1-cm edge over. Don’t forget to rub out any ugly pencil marks!

Step 5

And now it’s time to do some sticking. Put some Maxi Power Glue Tape on the 1-cm-wide edge.

Step 6

You can now give the bag its shape by rolling it carefully together and pressing the adhesive edge firmly against the side.

Step 7

If you have done everything right, you should now be able to hold your handcrafted paper bag in your hand. Now all you need to do is decorate your bags with rose petals so that you can give the newlyweds a fitting greeting.
