Small effort, big effect: These delicate Christmas stars made from sandwich bags are surprisingly easy to make. Then they can be arranged around the home either individually or together – and the Christmas mood has arrived!

What you need:

  • Glue roller Maxi Power Tape [ to product]
  • Sandwich bags
  • String for hanging
  • Pencil and ruler (optional)

How to make them:

Step 1

Take seven sandwich bags to make a star. These should be stuck on top of each other. To do this, attach a line of Maxi Power Tape horizontally along the lower, closed side and one line lengthways in the middle of the bag. We have drawn the lines with pencil on the image to show you where we mean.

Step 2

To make the prongs on the star, cut a triangle into the open side of the paper bags. You are then free to do whatever you want to decorate the star – cut prongs, circles, waves or other shapes into one or both sides. You’ll see what the star looks like when you fold it out. Let it be a surprise!

Step 3

Finally, apply some glue with the Maxi Power Tape to the middle of the upper sandwich bag. Place a piece of string onto it, unfold the star and glue both ends together.
